In the summers, San Jose turns out to be a truly wonderful destination for a vacation and there are numerous options for those who want to engage in a spot of fun under the sun.

San Jose experiences a subtropical Mediterranean climate and an average of 300 days of sunshine and mean temperature of 15.8 degree Celsius. The city is sheltered from rain and has a semi arid feel. Monthly average temperature  ca really rise during the summers to as high as 46 degree Celsius. Clothes should be cotton fabrics and natural fibers which allow the body to breathe and the sweat to evaporate.

Fall Holiday in San Jose

Fall in San Jose is a delightful time to be visiting this city. From the colorful foliage in parks to the stunning natural beauty of the mountain side, San Jose has a lot of variety to offer.

Temperature in San Jose in the months of August in the fall is roughly around 70 degree fahrenheit  or 21 degree celsius. Diurnal temperature variation is wider in San Jose. Light rainfall is not uncommon in the months from November to April/May. Synthetic as well as cotton cloths can be worn.

Winter Holiday In San Jose

Winter in San Jose is a time where you can enjoy the Christmas spirit and get into the mood for some fun and excitement.

Winters in San Jose are cold whereas on an annual basis there are 2.7 nights when temperature is below freezing mark and a fortnight when it reaches 32 degree celsius. Wear thick clothes and woolens to ward off the winter chill. Snow level reaches 610 m above sea level or even less than this, causing the Mount Hamilton and less commonly, the Santa Cruz mountains to be covered with snow. San Jose is made of microclimates.
